Andrew Hollinger is an Assistant Professor of Rhetoric, Composition, and Literacy Studies at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he is the undergraduate coordinator for the RCLS program. What Students Should Know About AI: One Professor’s Thoughts About Ethical AI Use

In this essay, UT Rio Grande Valley professor Andrew Hollinger argues that AI's slick marketing obscures real questions about bias, cultural neutrality, and the "cognitive debt" students incur when they offload thinking onto AI tools.
